Rental terms and conditions Le Numéro 5

Definitions

1. "Le Numéro 5": the name of the rented chalet.
2. The tenant: the person (m / f) who rents the chalet on his or her name.
3. The landlord: the owner of the chalet or representative
4. The site: the website www.numerocinq.nl
5. The lease means an agreement for renting the chalet "Le Numéro 5", which is deemed to have been concluded between tenant and landlord.

Reservation, Payment and Cancellation

1. Reservation of the chalet "Le Numéro 5" can  be made by contactform/e-mail or telephone or separate bookingsites such as Airbnb. After reservation via contactform/e-mail or telephone  the tenant will receive a request for a  payment of  30% of the rental price (excluding costs for the deposit) in which case the remainder of the bookings amount has to be paid ultimately 6 weeks before the arrival date or the tenant will receive a request for the payment of the full amount if the booking is made less than 6 weeks before the arrival date. In case of reservation via a special bookingssite the (payment and cancellation) conditions of this site apply.
2. Payments can be made  by bank transfer to bankaccount with IBAN: NL50 ABNA 0589558870 (ABN AMRO) in the name of K.S. van Kempen-Oyevaar.
3. Upon receipt of the (down) payment the reservation is confirmed and the lease comes into being. Cancellations by the tenant after this confirmation will incur costs.
4. For cancellations by the tenant within 2 months prior to arrival date a cancellation fee of 30% of the rent has to be paid ; for termination within one month before arrival date this fee is the full rent. The amount payed in advance for the deposit will be refunded.
5. Cancellation has to be confirmed by e-mail (karin@numerocinq.nl).
6. When - after 1st reminder - no payment is received , the reservation will be cancelled without obligation to repay a downpayment already paid.

Deposit

1. The tenant pays a deposit. The amount of the deposit is 350 euro.
2. It is the responsability of the tenant not to cause damages.
3. Out of this deposit will be paid  any amount due if the tenant, his fellow tenants or visitors have caused damage to the chalet or the inventory or if additional cleaning costs have to be made.
4. The final inspection on damages  is done after the departure of tenant.
5. If after the end of the reservation period no need exists to withhold an amount for damages or additional cleaning costs as mentioned under point 3  the deposit will be reimbursed within 14 days after the date of departure.

Number of people

1. The maximum number of persons to whom the chalet will be rented is 6.
2. The tenant has to be at least 21 years and has to be present during the whole rental period. 

Complaints

1. For any complaints about the cleanliness of the chalet at arrival you can contact Karin Oyevaar ( + 31 6 46 19 42 40) so that they can be resolved in consultation.
2. Any financial compensation in the case of later reported complaints is excluded.

Smoking and pets

1. Smoking is not allowed indoors.
2. Pets are not allowed.

Arrivals and departures

1. The arrival time is from 15:00 in the afternoon.
2. Departure is before 09:30 am. in the morning

1. Bookings can also be made through Air BNB or Châtel réservations.
2. Rates and conditions for bookings through Airbnb or Châtel réservations may differ from rates and bookings on this website.
3. To the extent that prices and conditions for bookings through Airbnb or Châtel réservations differ from those of this website  the prices and conditions of Airbnb or Châtel réservations take priority over the prices and conditions of this website. Otherwise the terms and conditions of this website apply.
